The 5th Recycling Festival organized by the Municipality of Piraeus in Korai Square on Friday 19.9.2025 was successfully concluded! .
The aim of the event was to raise awareness and mobilize citizens—especially children—on issues related to cleanliness, recycling, and environmental protection.
TEXAN once again participated with its state-of-the-art Multi-purpose Center, giving students from Piraeus schools and visitors the opportunity to:
- Recycle plastic, metal & glass materials in the state-of-the-art TEXAN Multi-purpose Recycling Center.
- Enter a draw for 24 unique gifts (7 smartwatches, 7 Action Cameras, 5 Speakers & 5 Headphones).
The event was honored by the presence of the Mayor of Piraeus,Mr. Giannis Moralis and the Deputy Mayor for Cleaning & Recycling, Mr. Panagiotis Reppas who also carried out the draw for the competition and who spoke with the children and urged them to actively recycle! .
The square was transformed into a colorful “Recycling Village”, full of smiles, creativity and children’s voices. Many children, parents and teachers participated in actions aiming to make recycling… a game!
Together we sent the message for a more sustainable future.
