The actions of the “Mobile Center for Environmental Education & Recycling” continue.
On Friday, October 17, 2025, the “Mobile Centre for Environmental Education & Recycling”, in the framework of AB Vassilopoulos’ collaboration with Sanitas Greece, was present in the action Save your Hood” in Veikou Park.
The 5th voluntary action took place, during which volunteers cleaned the park of waste, emphasizing the importance of caring for public spaces and the natural environment.
The volunteers who participated in the activity attended the theoretical Environmental Education Program and observed firsthand the recycling process with incentive-based schemes and ‘Sorting at Source,’ experiencing how easily recycling can become a daily habit with a meaningful environmental impact.
Every small initiative can contribute to keeping public spaces clean and sustainable, while promoting a culture of recycling in practice!
