The Mobile Center for Environmental Education & Recycling paid a brief visit to AB Vassilopoulos headquarters, (81 Spaton Avenue, Gerakas 153 44), for a 2-day event dedicated to informing and raising awareness among the company’s employees on issues of recycling and environmental protection.
During the action, the AB Vassilopoulos employees and executives had the opportunity to learn about the joint Corporate Social Responsibility action by AB Vassilopoulos and TEXAN and to have a comprehensive environmental education experience. They experienced firsthand how the Automatic Recycling Machine with an Incentive Reward operates, learned about proper recycling practices, and discovered how everyday choices can significantly reduce our environmental footprint.
They saw in practice how materials are separated, what can be recycled and what habits can be changed immediately.
Our initiative was honored by the presence of the Chair of the Board of Directors of AB Vassilopoulos, who attended the training session and participated in the recycling activity, Mrs. Eleni Providi. Other attendees were the CEO Mr. Nikos Lavidas, the Head of Communication & Corporate Responsibility Mrs. Machaira Alexia, the Sustainability Specialist Ms. Angelina Sapounaki and other executives from all company departments.
The presence of the Mobile Center for Environmental Education & Recycling reinforced AB Vassilopoulos’s message for a more responsible and ecological everyday life, linking the company’s new campaign with sustainability and information practices.
