TEXAN S.A. participates as a Gold Sponsor in the 5th Attica Green Expo 2026, the largest exhibition in Greece dedicated to the environment, recycling and sustainable development, actively supporting initiatives for a greener and more sustainable future.
The strong presence of TEXAN at the 5th Attica Green Expo stood out from the first day of the event, with two Recycling Multi-purpose Recycling Centers placed at the entrance of the exhibition, which became a focal point and an attraction for students, visitors, and distinguished guests.
Through interactive presentations, visitors had the opportunity to get to know in practice the recycling process by “sorting at source” and to be informed about the important benefits of responsible waste management.
The opening of the exhibition took place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in the presence of important representatives of the state and local government, including the Minister of Environment and Energy Mr. Stavros N. Papastavrou, the Deputy Minister of Interior, Mr. Vassilis Spanakis, the Regional Governor of Attica, Mr. Nikos Hardalias, the Regional Governor of Central Greece, Mr. Fanis Spanos.
During the opening ceremony, TEXAN was honored with an award for its overall contribution and its role to promoting sustainable development and recycling in Greece.
The award was received by the company's General Manager, Mr. Dimitris Tsouvalas.
TEXAN’s support to the 5th Attica Green Expo confirms its commitment to a greener and more sustainable future, through actions that bring citizens, institutions and the young generation closer to the principles of environmental responsibility.
