The 1st pan-European mobile "Center for Environmental Education and Recycling" started its course throughout the territory from the Municipality of Nea Smyrni. The mobile CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND RECYCLING has been developed by the ‘Individual Alternative Packaging Management System’ by AB Vassilopoulos, approved by the Ministry of Environment and Energy, with a view to cultivating pupils’ environmental awareness and educating citizens on sustainable development and circular economy.
From Monday 16.4.2018 to Friday 20.4.2018 at Chrysostomou Square in Nea Smyrni and from Monday 23.4.2018 to Friday 27.4.2018 at Ktima Degleri, Efxinou Pontou & Fokion Street, thousands of students from local schools visited the mobile "Center for Environmental Education & Recycling", recycled, were trained through specially designed audiovisual material and won prizes after a prize draw.
