The Green Awards reward companies with the most important programs for the environment & Greek society
At the “The Second Thessaloniki Metropolitan Summit”, organized before the kick-off of the 86th Thessaloniki International Fair, by the Economist and powergame.gr, the “Green Awards 2022” awarding ceremony took place on Friday 9 September 2022.
TEXAN S.A stood out being granted the 1st Award in the category "Corporate Social Responsibility Program for the Environment", for the implementation of a UNIQUE & INNOVATIVE Corporate Social responsibility Program entitled "We donate € 1.000.000 - It's up to you how to allocate it". For the 1the time in Greece, citizens will vote and will decide which proposals will be financed. In particular, 4 proposals, one per pillar (environment, education, health & local community), will share the sum of € 1.000.000 to implement their program. The prize was received by Mr. Apostolos Mourgos, President of TEXAN from Mr. Takis Theodorikakos, Minister for Citizens Protection.
The deadline for applications to be submitted is extended until 31/10/2022 at 15:00 due to high participation and increased interest in submitting applications by operators.
