The TEXAN Envipco group of companies participated as a silver sponsor in the "33rd Greek Economic Summit | GES2022" on "Big Bets in Challenges Times", organized by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, 5-6 December 2022, at Athenaeum InterContinental Athens.
On the first day of the conference, Dr. Panagiotis Mourgos, Managing Director of TEXAN SA, participated in the panel "Circular economy: Prospects & challenges' together with Mr. Kostas Skrekas, Minister for the Environment & Energy and the journalist Mr. Georgos Kostoulas.
In his address, he referred to the very significant investment that was implemented in our country, namely the1st Production Plant of Rewarding Recycling Machines in Pallini, an investment which, among other things, contributes to the creation of new green jobs, boosting exports and recycling in our country in order to achieve the quantitative targets in Greece.
He also mentioned that TEXAN will soon announce 2 new American investments in the circular economy sector.
An official dinner was offered at Grand Hyatt Athens on Monday 12 December for the closure of the conference.
The honorary guest was Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, who discussed with Mr. Nikolaos Bakatselos, President of American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce και την κα Julie Linn Teigland, Area Managing Partner, EY Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA)& Member of the EY Global Executive.
The official dinner was attended, among others, by Mr. Apostolos Mourgos, President of TEXAN SA, Dr. Panagiotis Mourgos, Managing Director of TEXAN, Ministers of the Greek Government, diplomats & many important representatives of the Greek business community.
