In 2007, for the first time worldwide, TEXAN and ALPHA BANK inaugurated ¨a Mobile Integrated Rewarding Recycling Center¨, at the Sports Panorama in Nea Makri, Attica. The event was attended by ALPHA BANK management, hundreds of young and older friends of sports and recycling, the Olympic champion Nikos Kaklamanakis and the athletes Aris Gregoriadis, Pericles Iakovakis and Louis Tsatoumas.
ALPH ABANK, viewing the environmental interest as a prime manifestation of culture, undertook first to sponsor the Integrated Rewarding Recycling System of the Municipality of Athens at 4 central locations in Athens. At the same time, in order to inform the public and promote the idea of recycling in Municipalities and Communities across the country, it set up an "ALPHA BANK MOBILE RECYCLING CENTER" in collaboration with TEXAN.
