The first stop of the Mobile Environmental Education and Recycling Center for 2024 was the Municipality of Dionysos.
Specifically, from Monday, February 5, 2024, until Friday, February 16, 2024, 580 students and educators visited the Recycling Bus and participated in the environmental education program approved by the Ministry of Education, Religion, and Sports.
Additionally, our bus was visited by the Mayor of Dionysos, Mrs. Katerina Maichosoglou, who stated:
"I would like to extend my congratulations to the effort made by TEXAN towards the environmental education of our children. The Municipal Authority, in close relationship and cooperation with the citizens of the seven areas, will seek to 'build' the future of the Municipality of Dionysos in the coming five years. The future we all dream of.
Therefore, our future, the future of our children, is closely connected to recycling, green, and circular economy. We commend every initiative directly related to ecological awareness, in which we actively participate together with the schools and each family separately.
Such actions constitute a bulwark against the environmental crisis and ultimately, the looming global ecological disaster."
