TEXAN: ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ Program
"We donate € 1.000.000 - It's up to you how to allocate it"
A unique and innovative integrated CSR program by TEXAN that demonstrates its commitment to environmental conservation, educational progress, health improvement and support of local communities.
TEXAN, within the framework of the Corporate Social Responsibility Program "We donate € 1.000.000 - It's up to you how to allocate it", provides an opportunity for all citizens to actively participate by selecting and voting for initiatives, projects, and actions that hold significant importance and promise substantial impact on our collective lives.
In particular, TEXAN after public voting will allocate €1,000,000 to four selected organizations, aiming to bolster vital actions related to the environment, education, health, and the local community. This initiative underscores its commitment to making a positive difference in society. The CSR Program by TEXAN is under the auspices of his Beatitude Archbishop Jerome II of Athens & All Greece, but also under the auspices of the Ministries of Environment & Energy, Education & Religious Affairs, Health & Internal Affairs, while also being supported by REWARDING RECYCLING.
The Program "We donate € 1.000.000 - It's up to you how to allocate it» is split into three phases.
In the initial phase of the call for applications, entities including research groups, universities, hospital institutions, non-profit organizations, NGOs, and startups were invited to participate and submit proposals. These entities were encouraged to showcase their active contributions toward fulfilling the objectives of this significant Corporate Social Responsibility initiative on behalf of TEXAN. The 2nd phase concerned the selection of entities following an evaluation by the Judging Committee.
The 3rd and final phase of the program involves the selection of the final winners by the citizens. Voting is open to the public through the program’s website www.csr-texan.recycling-center.gr and ends on Friday 31/5/2024. The 4 proposals that garner the highest number of votes (1 representing each pillar), will collectively receive a total of €1,000,000!
Mr. Apostolos Mourgos, Chairman of TEXAN BoD noted that “through the program "We donate € 1.000.000 - It's up to you how to allocate it", we recognize and reward companies and organizations whose projects contribute to pivotal pillars. Our fellow citizens are active participants in this endeavor, as they will have the opportunity to determine where the prize money will be donated by selecting the organizations of their choice. We continue to share the benefits and importance of recycling."
