TEXAN: Top honors at the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards 2024

With four (4) awards, including the “Responsible Leader” award, TEXAN was awarded at this year’s Hellenic Responsible Business Awards, standing out for its Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives!

TEXAN, the leading recycling company in Greece, shone at this year’s BOUSSIAS Communications’ Hellenic Responsible Business Awards, winning four awards in recognition of its Corporate Social Responsibility actions and programs.

Specifically, TEXAN received an award in the "Technology & Environment" category: TEXAN – the pioneers of recycling! TEXAN was honored with the "Creation and Management of  Recycling Multicenters" award in the category of "Strengthening of Employment" at the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards: 1,000 New jobs and 2 New Investments from TEXAN!”, as well as a prize in the category “Zero Waste: TEXAN pioneered the "Zero Waste Concerts" in collaboration with Konstantinos Argyros, delivering a powerful recycling message for a better future!

Additionally, the award presented to TEXAN President, Mr. Apostolos Mourgos, was a great honor and a significant distinction for the company. Mr. Apostolos Mourgos received the award “Responsible Leader” in the category “Responsible Leader” for the conservation of natural resources, energy saving, support of the National economy and the promotion of a social culture of sustainability”.


Upon delivery of the awards, the President of TEXAN, Mr. Apostolos Mourgos said “A great honor but also a great responsibility! The leader should always remember that he should return the social dividend to the citizens and contribute to improving social cohesion.
