The Big Educational Recycling Competition of Primary and Secondary Education Schools of Municipalities in the Region of Crete, organized in collaboration with the Unified Waste Management Association of Crete, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs & Sports was successfully completed.

🥇1st Place and the BIG WINNER of the competition is:
School class: A3
School: 1st High School of Heraklion
Materials recycled: 526,515 items
Prize: One (1) 5-day trip for all school class students to any city of their preference in Europe.
🥈2nd Place of the competition:
School class: C3
School: High School of Limena Chersonissos
Materials recycled: 387,585 items
Prize: One (1) 5-day trip for all school class students to any city of their preference in Greece.
🥉3rd Place of the competition:
School class: E1
School: 48th Elementary School of Heraklion
Materials recycled: 353,069 items
Prize: One (1) Smartwatch for all school class students.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
Apart from the announced gifts of the competition and due to the extremely large participation of the students in the Big Educational Recycling Competition for Primary & Secondary Schools of the Municipalities of Crete, it was decided that prizes would be awarded to the winning school class of each Municipality*.
🥇 The prize is one (1) Smartwatch for all school class students.
