TEXAN was one of the 8 companies that participated in the successful business delegation organized by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt from March 18 to 21, 2023.
The business delegation was led by the President of the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Nikolaos Bakatselos and the General Manager, Mr. Ilias Spirtounias.
TEXAN was represented by the President of the company Mr. Apostolos Mourgos.
The delegation members had the opportunity to meet and discuss business cooperation prospects, with prominent Egyptian personalities including:
- The Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, Mr. Tarek El Molla
- Τhe Minister for International Cooperation, Ms Rania El Mashat
- The Minister for Tourism, Mr. Ahmed Issa
During the 3-day trip, the delegation members gained access to valuable information about the Egyptian economy, investment opportunities and infrastructure projects in progress. Moreover, on a special permit, they visited the New Museum of Cairo which will be accessible to the public in a few months and other important sights.
Finally, the Ambassador of Greece to Egypt, Mr. Nikolaos Papageorgiou, welcomed them to his residence in view of the celebration of March 25, on a beautiful night that was musically framed by the famous composer Evanthia Reboutsika.
