♻️ The "1st National Secondary Education School Recycling Championship” was completed with great success. The participation of students and schools from across Greece was truly impressive!

• 👨🎓 8,000+ students participated actively
• 🏫 From 528 lower and upper secondary school classes
• 📍 In 95 municipalities throughout the country
• ♻️ 87,766,061 items of materials were returned to the Multi-purpose Recycling Centers of TEXAN
• 
2,632,981.83 € were paid as a rewarding fee to the participants
The “1st National School Recycling Championship” was held in the context of the proclamation of Giannis Antetokounmpo as MVP (Most Valuable Protector) of Recycling in Greece” and is part of the “Corporate Social Responsibility” programs of TEΧAN, aiming to:
✅ Raise awareness among the younger generation
✅ Encourage the active participation of lower and upper secondary school students
✅ foster environmental consciousness
✅ promote the circular economy & recycling
The action was under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and the Ministry of Environment and Energy.
