TEXAN S.A., the leading Greek recycling company that manufactures, installs and operates the cutting-edge technology Multi-purpose Recycling Centers, was awarded a total of 5 significant distinctions at the Green Βrand Awards 2026 and was named Green Company of the Year, confirming its leading role in the development of innovative recycling solutions & promoting the circular economy.
The Green Brand Awards is an important institution that highlights best practices in sustainable development and responsible entrepreneurship, connecting the scientific community, the market and society. Initiatives that combine economic growth with environmental responsibility are recognized and rewarded under this institution.
TEXAN received distinctions in 5 categories for actions related to environmental education, public awareness, cooperation with local government bodies and the development of innovative solutions in the field of recycling.
In particular:
🏆 Gold – Green CSR Actions: For the campaign “Giannis Antetokounmpo as "Most Valuable Protector – MVP of Recycling in Greece”.
🏆 Gold – Green Partnerships / Collaborations: For the educational recycling competitions in collaboration with the local Government bodies (Regional Association of Attica Municipalities (P.E.D.A.), FODSA (Solid Waste Management Body) of the Peloponnese, Unified Waste Management Association of Crete, Municipality of Chalkida).
🏆 Gold – Green Leadership / Trailblazer Award: For its overall contribution to promoting recycling and the circular economy as a driving force for the economy.
🏆 Gold – Green Education, Training & Awareness: For the 1st Worldwide Mobile Center For Environmental Education & Recycling.
🥈 Silver – Green Business Project: For the World’s First Mobile Multi-purpose Energy-Autonomous PV Recycling Center.

The Green Brand Awards 2026 were held under the auspices of the Association of Environmental Science Graduates in Greece.
More than 200 senior business executives, representatives of institutions, Universities, professionals and press representatives, were present at the award ceremony, welcoming the innovation and quality of the award-winning nominations of companies that combine the appropriate viability and sustainability conditions with the development of entrepreneurship and environmental protection, offering sustainable technologies and practices, as well as products considered Green, Eco-friendly, Recyclable, Reusable, Zero Waste and Low Energy Consumption.
The award ceremony was held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Sofitel Athens Airport and was organized by BOUSSIAS events
