The passion for sports met with environmental responsibility at the Ellinikon Sports Park on July 14,15 & 19, 2026, where the unique evenings of the semi-finals and the Grand final of the World Cup gained a distinct green footprint with TEXAN's participation.
More than 3,000 fans found at the Ellinikon Sports Park to experience the magic of world football up close also had the opportunity to actively participate in recycling. Thanks to the recycling machines of TEXAN operating in the area, visitors recycled their packaging, helping the organization to acquire a Low Waste character and proving that sports and environmental protection can go hand in hand.
In this way, each packaging returned for recycling was transformed into a small but important environmental protection act.
The three great football nights organized by LAMDA Development, were another example of how major sporting events can combine entertainment, participation, and sustainable development.
Through its innovative recycling solutions, TEΧAN has enabled visitors to become part of a collective effort for a cleaner and more sustainable world.
Because, as the MVP (Most Valuable Protector) of Recycling in Greece Giannis Antetokounmpo, says:
“In recycling we are all a team! We are TEXAN!”
