TEXAN was awarded as part of the “BEYOND INNOVATION AWARDS 2023” competition organized by the ECONOMIST

The Technology & Innovation Award for ENVIPCO’s American high technology Recycling Centers, now produced in Greece, is due to the existence of the most modern available technologies (best available technologies) for the identification and processing of plastic, metal and glass materials for recycling (plastic/metal sensors, shape - size - weight recognition, compression and fragmentation of materials), as well as the on-line monitoring and remote management system of equipment for the collection of multiple operating data, problem solving and upgrading of software and parameters.

The TEXAN award was received by the CEO Dr. Panagiotis Mourgos, who stressed that : “Recycling using cutting edge technology equipment is a new, dynamic activity that is developing in our country and worldwide. On our part, we are proud that this modern equipment of American technology is now produced in Greece and Greece now owns the first production unit outside America. At the same time, we declare that we will remain close to society, through important actions of social responsibility and the creation of many new, green, well-paid jobs.
