The actions of the “Mobile Center for Environmental Education & Recycling” continue!
On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the “Mobile Center for Environmental Education & Recycling” was present for the fourth consecutive time at Veikou Park, taking part in the voluntary community cleanup organized by the 'Save Your Hood' movement—an initiative dedicated to keeping neighborhoods and the environment clean, with the support of SANITAS and AB Vassilopoulos.
During the action, more than 5,000 liters of waste were collected and removed, significantly improving the cleanliness of the area for residents and visitors.
Following the completion of the initiative, the “Mobile Center for Environmental Education & Recycling” was visited by all those who actively participated in the cleanup of the Grove, employees from both companies involved, as well as park visitors.
Children and adults attended the educational program of the Mobile Center for Environmental Education & Recycling with great enthusiasm, showing particular interest in the critical issue of recycling. At the same time, they had the opportunity to see in practice how a recycling machine works with a rewarding incentive.
