The holiday season just ended, and while we’ve enjoyed celebrating, it also means more waste! In 2022, the EU generated over 2.2 billion tonnes of waste. This new year can serve as an opportunity to change our habits and rethink how to manage waste - starting with the leftovers from the celebrations!
♻️ By recycling, reusing and reducing, it can help lower this number. The EU aims for 60% of municipal waste to be recycled by 2030.
Every small change, like avoiding packaging or going paperless for bills, makes a difference.
