The Big School Recycling Competition of the Primary and Secondary Education schools of the Municipality of Athens has commenced with an impressive turnout from schools!
Every day, hundreds of students, along with their parents and teachers, visit the Recycling Centers of TEXAN at the participating schools, actively engaging in the recycling of plastic, metal, and glass materials, thereby automatically entering the competition!
The competition concludes on Sunday, March 31, 2024, and the grand prizes for the top three schools with the highest recycling rates are as follows:
• A 5-day trip for all students in the winning school to any city in Europe of their choice.
• A 5-day trip for all students in the winning school to any city in Greece they choose.
• A Smartwatch for all students in the winning school.
Please note that if a Kindergarten or Primary School class secures the 1st position in the competition, the prize will be an electric bicycle for all its students. Similarly, if a Kindergarten or 1st to 4th grade Primary School class secures the 2nd position, the prize will be a bicycle for all its students.

As part of the Big School Recycling Competition of the Municipality of Athens, representatives from TEXAN visit schools to educate primary and secondary school students about the importance and value of recycling!
Recently, visits were made to the 52nd High School of Athens and the 45th Primary School of Athens to foster environmental awareness among students, especially young individuals, and encourage their active involvement in the recycling process.
In the coming weeks, further informative visits will be conducted at schools across Attica to spread awareness about TEXAN's initiatives.
